We've spoken to local people and compiled a list of some of the things going on in the area - whether you want to meet like-minded people, or want accommodation without intrusive questions. The group does around 20 walks a year ranging from easy walking on level ground to mountain scrambling.
Although the core activity is walking there are groups who participate in climbing, canoeing, cycling, caving and other specialized activities. The gay scene in the area is small and compact compared to city hubs, but there is something for everyone within our growing community.

Be a part of inclusive LGBT groups, register for queer and gay events, celebrate the pride month in Aberystwyth with pub crawls, adventures and parades. The group also arranges regular social evenings and dinners so members can get to know each other better.
The numbers attending a walk can vary from just a few to as many as 40, the age range tends to be 30 - 50, though all are welcome. They aim to advance sexual orientation and gender identity equality and inclusion across Wales, and provide a range of support, signposting, advocacy, information and other services.
